Experience the beauty of this Thousand Islands Region waterfront cottage on Trout Lake near Edwards, NY (NOT the other 'Trout Lake' near Lake George, NY which is 140 miles away!!) Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life & enjoy this craftsman 4 bedroom 2 bath cottage retreat nestled along the shore of pristine Trout Lake (includes motorized pontoon boat!!). ALL PETS WELCOMED! Enter address: 18 Leader Ln, Hermon, NY 13652 in any map program or GPS. If a WEEKLY rental is selected, they typically rent SUNDAY EVE TO SUNDAY MORNING unless otherwise approved. 3 day rentals after Labor Day and before summer fun weeks! This is a new listing and compliments our "sister property" at https://www.vrbo.com/595609. The cottage has spacious bedrooms with: *Queen bed in Master Down *Queen bed and Toddler Bed in Yellow Master Up *Two Full-sized beds in Blue Bedroom *One Queen and two Twin beds in Lakeside view Master Up *Pull out couch and cots for overflow sleeping, if needed From the gorgeous waterside decks you have great views of the lake. The waterfront has a gentle slope down to a floating dock with 3 kayaks, 1 canoe, 10HP PONTOON BOAT (valid drivers license, ONLY authorized renters & safety gear), 2 paddle boards. The PONTOON BOAT is slow but functional (10HP insurance limit). The back deck has an outdoor/covered entertainment area with gas grill, portable hot tub (not guaranteed to work as they can break a few days each season), firebox and seating area. This 20 year old cottage was totally remodeled with beautiful tongue & groove knotty pine and butternut craftsman trimwork that the owner harvested off the lands. Open floorpan, suspended staircase, architraves and sloping second floor bedroom ceilings add a comfortable feel and warmth to the quaint cabin while maximizing the view of the Adirondacks. There are countless places to visit nearby which are perfect for boating, hiking, biking, rafting, antiquing, outdoor sporting, sightseeing, just a short drive to Lake Placid or the St. Lawrence River. Montreal Quebec is only 2.5 hrs away for those with a valid passport and a sense for international fun. This cottage is nestled in a quiet and serene wooded setting, directly on the shore of Trout Lake. Its high elevation provides a wonderful view of the quiet lake. The lots on this lake have approximately 130 feet of water frontage w/dock for boat and/or jet ski parking and there are cottages on both sides of this lot (approx 200 feet away). Easy parking for 5-10 cars and 20' trailers. This waterfront community has respectful & helpful neighbors who will allow you to enjoy your rental... please be good neighbors as well! The lake water is clean & clear with awesome visibility! You can swim off the dock, paddle out in floats, jump off the boat and beyond. You may also wade in from the shoreline where there is a small sandy beach up to knee deep (kids area)... then there is muck/sediment on the bottom thereafter (sorry)! Our guests have easy access to all the Thousand Islands Region has to offer! Walk out of your door and the possibilities are endless. Whether it’s fishing the area lakes and ponds, diving the crystal clear waters, paddling kayaks through scenic preserves, hiking trails leading to multiple water falls, or picnicking in the Adirondack Park, our waterfront location makes it all possible. If you want to take a break from the outdoor adventures, try exploring the two nearby historic castles in Alexandria Bay, the renowned Antique Boat Museum, local wineries on the Thousand Islands Seaway Wine Trail, Visit nearby colleges such as SUNY Potsdam State, Clarkson University (both in Potsdam, NY), Canton ATC, St. Lawrence University (SUNY Canton) for orientation, graduation, spring break or sporting events, or simply relax while taking a scenic dinner cruise among the islands or enjoy a bike or motorcycle drive through the region. Seasonal hunters can also enjoy 6 Million Acres of the Adirondack State Forest that begins within walking distance of the property. Whatever your interests may be, our top priority is making your stay memorable. After 2 cottages 5 seasons and 350+ guests with our sister property, I will try to present past complaints: 10HP pontoon is slow and you cannot ski behind (insurance allows only 10HP...SORRY). There is a gentle slope from cottage to water. The hot tub has been replaced with a portable(air) unit. Newer 2019 HotTub IS NOT GUARANTEED TO WORK (they break down often, upset short rental and parts have to be shipped). Hot tub drained and closed in winter (sorry). Neighboring homes can be seen from this cottage. The sandy beach area turns to muck after a couple feet of water. If your dog barks for hours, the neighbors may complain. RV's welcome but there are no hookups. Slight & intermittent Sulphur smell to well water at sink and shower. Internet is only 6.1mbps and streaming data (inc RokuTV) can be irritating. Gas fireplace does not burn real logs. AC is rarely needed in NY and guest never read this advertisement, the "welcome email" or contract. You can check property in advance if you chose. Most LOVE IT, but there is always someone who seeks discounts/free rentals then threats to write a bad review. It is exactly as pictured and described and we promptly assist (even wedding flowers for one honeymoon)! We did our best to describe most nuances and list past complaints. Most people love and understand this place! If you typically enjoy abusing hotel staff, managers, assigning negative reviews for fun and beyond... another rental may be better suited! We encourage your "5-STAR Rating" and we strive to deliver exactly as pictured/described/priced. It is not a $20M resort so please do not compare and rate as a comparison. It is just a wonderful rustic cottage that most families love. We will help anyway we can within time and reason to go the extra effort. Click on the calendar link to see available dates. Mandatory week rentals from July - September require a 7 day minimum and check-in is Sunday 4PM and checkout is Sunday 10AM. I ALWAYS RECOMMEND GUEST PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE. Insurance can pay back the rental fees if the guests are unable to use the cottage. This helped/protected at least three couples with late breaking medical concerns. As a reminder, freezing winter temperatures exist typically Dec-March. Boats and water toys are stowed for winter and not present. Cottage has an LP gas fireplace and a monitor for heating. As such, winter heat needs open doors to circulate warmth. The following are some items to familiar yourself with the cottage: FIRE-PIT & HOT TUB: some of the best time is spent with a hoodie and some bug spray next to the fire pit or in the portable Hot Tub. Hot Tub is shut down when freezing temperatures approach. It is also a mechanical item and prone to break! We will repair and maintain but note that parts have to be shipped and a standard repair can take a week.. so no guarantees that it will work! Family, friends, S’mores and fine merriment cannot be beat! Keep late night shouting and loud music to a minimum to keep neighbors happy. WATER FUN: Keep the personally owned ski boats slow in the “no wake zone” near shore. This allows you and the neighbors to swim safely. Keep the boat speed for the open and deep water lake! There is a state park with a sandy beach that is 1 mile south on the lake and easy to reach via pontoon/canoe/kayak/paddle board. There are long hiking trails from the county road to the State Beach but is is best to access via boat. There is also “Rock Island” nearby the state beach. Enjoy jumping off the rocks into the deep water below. FISHING: There are many area bodies of water for all sorts of fishing. This includes Trout Lake, Cedar Lake, Cranberry Lake, Black Lake, Oswegatchie River, Grasse River, St. Regis RIverPlumb Brook, St. Lawrence River & hundreds of mountain brooks and watersheds. The DEC stocks Trout Lake with a combined 5 to 10 thousand rainbow and lakers. Other stocking in recent years include landlocked salmon and walleye. Trout Lake also has a good number of smallmouth bass. SCUBA: The lake is deep, clear and cold at 100+ feet depths. The St. Law. River has several wrecks from the War of 1812 and up. AREA OUTDOOR Hiking: I have attached a map of area hikes in the forest. There are local waterfalls (Lampson Falls, Copper Rock Falls, Rainbow Fall, Twin Falls, etc) are easy hikes and "MANDATORY TO VISIT" for my kids. Moon Lake is a 2.7 mile blue trail kid-friendly hike. Wolf Lake and the Firefalls are a longer walk and can take a day or several days if you chose. Experts attack the 46 great Adirondack High Peaks. Water Falls: See the maps. There are several local water falls. Be sure to port my kayaks around! Lampson Falls, Copper Rock Falls, Rainbow Fall, Twin Falls, etc) Alexandria Bay: was a popular resort in the late 1800’s and turn of the century. It is famous for it’s “millionaire’s row” where the elite built summer homes along the river. Take the Uncle Sam's Boat Tour to Singer Island and Bolt Castle! Boldt Castle Tours: famous area castle in Alexandria Bay, NY. Whitewater Rafting: Raft Black River (near Watertown, NY). This is a fast paced ride what will get your heart pounding. Know how to raft SAFE! Kayak: If you are kayakers, you can try the Grasse River or the Oswegatchie River (esp upper water shed). Know SAFE kayaking! Hunting: There are millions of acres that begin almost walking distance from the cottage. Firefalls or Tooley Pond Road (deGrasse, NY) are good starting points for the forest (no hunting on our small property) SUNY Potsdam/Canton/Plattsburg, Clarskon University and SLU. Check the event schedules for activities. WINTER: water/hot tub activities limited. Ice may not be suitable to walk for ice fish. Snow shoveling a must!

'The North Shore' is available for St. Lawrence University commencement (3 night rental), Family & Reunion Weekends (2 or 3 night rental) or anytime you come to visit your son or daughter at any of the area's colleges. Winter is perhaps our best kept secret: snow shoe, back-country XC ski or fish the lake and come on in for a sauna and an evening around the fire. Snowmobile trails are located nearby. Other species include: Largemouth Bass (22 inch caught off dock summer 2010), Perch, Bullhead, tons of Rock Bass and Sun Fish for the kids to catch. Rainbow Trout are plentiful and fairly easily caught from mid to late spring. As for Lake Trout, there are some real monsters if they are your thing and have the patience (owner caught 39 inch 17lb. Laker April 2010). NYS regulations allow fishing for Rainbows & Lakers on Trout Lake beyond the usual October 15 cut-off. Bass season: catch and release/artificial lures only December 1 until 3rd Saturday in June; catch and keep opens the 3rd Saturday in June and goes to November 30th. House (2500 sq. ft.) in Hermon, NY
0 miles from Trout Lake
Experience the beauty of this Thousand Islands Region waterfront rustic cabin on Trout Lake near Edwards, NY (NOT the other 'Trout Lake' near Lake George, NY which is 140 miles away!!) Get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life & enjoy this classic 2 bedroom cottage retreat with guest Bunk House, nestled along the shore of pristine Trout Lake (includes motorized row boat!!). ALL PETS WELCOMED! Enter address: 694 County Route 19, Hermon, NY 13652 in any map program or GPS. If a weekly rental is selected, they typically rent Sunday eve - Sunday Morning unless otherwise approved. The main cottage has: *Queen bed in lakeside master *Full bed in the second bedroom *Couches and 2 Queen air mattresses for overflow sleeping, if needed Bunk House Main Floor (ALWAYS included) has: *1 King bed *2 twin beds *1 futon couch/bed Bunk House Loft has: *1 full sized bed (mattress on loft floor) *2 small children beds Click on the 17 minute video... it's is dated but show much more on the rooms! From the gorgeous waterside decks you have great views of the lake. The waterfront has a gentle slope down to an aluminum dock with a canoe, 10HP motorized aluminum row boat (valid drivers license, ONLY authorized renters & safety gear), paddle board and 2 kayaks. The PONTOON BOAT IS NOT INCLUDED and CANNOT be included due to strict insurance restrictions (illustration for large boat parking only). The back deck has an outdoor entertainment area with gazebo, gas grill, portable hot tub (not guaranteed to work), firebox and seating area. This 60 year old cottage was totally remodeled with beautiful tongue and groove knotty pine throughout. Low 7-foot ceilings & architraves add to a comfortable feel and warmth to the quaint cabin while maximizing the view of the Adirondacks. There are countless places to visit nearby which are perfect for hiking, biking, rafting, antiquing, outdoor sporting, sightseeing, just a short drive to Lake Placid or the St. The lots on this lake have approximately 80-100 feet of water frontage w/dock for boat and/or jet ski and there are cottages on both sides of this +/-80' x 150' lot. In addition, the County Road 19 at the rear has homes along the highway. This waterfront community has respectful & helpful neighbors who will allow you to enjoy your rental... please be good neighbors as well! The lake water is clean & clear with awesome visibility! You can swim off the dock, paddle out in floats, jump off the boat and beyond. You may also wade in from the shoreline but i emphasize that there is muck/sediment on the bottom in the area of the waterfront!!! Most prefer to swim off the dock and not walk on the muck to swim. There are sandy and quiet State beaches to paddle to and enjoy. Lawrence University (Canton, NY) for orientation, graduation, spring break or sporting events, or simply relax while taking a scenic dinner cruise among the islands or enjoy a bike or motorcycle drive through the region. Seasonal hunters can also enjoy 6 Million Acres of the Adirondack State Forest that begins within walking distance of the property..no hunting on small property. Whatever your interests may be our top priority is making your stay memorable. After 5 seasons and 350+ guests, I will try to present past complaints: Aluminum row boat with 10HP motor included but NO PONTOON IS INCLUDED (insurance will not cover). There are steps to cottage and water. The hot tub has been replaced with a portable(air) unit. Newer 2018 HotTub IS NOT GUARANTEED TO WORK (they break down often, upset short rental and parts have to be shipped). No bathroom or kitchen in aux bunk/sleeping house. Neighboring homes can be seen from this cottage. No sand beach in front of camp (muck). If your dog barks for hours, the neighbors may complain. RV's welcome but no hookups. Slight & intermittent Sulphur smell to well water at sink and shower. Internet is only 5mbps and streaming data (inc RokuTV) can be irritating. No fireplace and guest never read this advertisement, the "welcome email" or contract. Mandatory week rentals from July - September require a 7 day minimum and check-in is Sunday 4PM and checkout is Sunday 11AM. I always recommend guests purchase Travel Insurance. Insurance can pay back the rental fees if the guests are unable to use the cottage. This helped/protected at least one couple with a late breaking medical concern. As a reminder, freezing winter temperatures exist typically Dec-March. Boats and water toys are stowed for winter and not present. Main Cottage has an LP Heater and a basic floor mounted heater (NO Open Flame and no "Ambience Flame"). The Bunk House has an LP gas heater as well, however it can be uncomfortable in extreme winter conditions (i.e. below zero deg F)! Please plan accordingly if you plan on utilizing the Bunk House in cold weather (Bunk House best suited for non-freezing temps)! WATER FUN: Keep the ski boats slow in the “no wake zone” near shore. This allows you and the neighbors to swim safely. Keep the boat speed for the open and deep water lake! There is a state park with a sandy beach that is directly across the lake and easy to reach via boat/canoe/kayak. There are local waterfalls (Lampson Falls, Copper Rock Falls, Rainbow Fall, Twin Falls, etc) are easy hikes. Firefalls or Tooley Pond Road (deGrasse, NY) are good starting points for the forest. SUNY Potsdam/Canton/Plattsburg, Clarskon University and SLU. Check the event schedules for activities. WINTER: water/hot tub activities limited. Ice may not be suitable to walk for ice fish. Snow shoveling a must

Fall colors are brilliant with many maples trees in view. During a winter retreat the pellet stove provides penetrating warmth. Winter is a wonderful time to relax and reflect. The cabin gives a deep woods feel while being close to a small town. A word of caution: Since the property is surrounded on 3 sides by rapid water and steep rock ledges that drop to the water's edge, we do not encourage visitors staying at the cabin with very young children. Close supervision near the river and at the pool is a must. Keywords: Log cabin, river front, waterfall, waterfront, relaxing, serene

Barn (1300 sq. ft.) in Canton, NY
14.1 miles from Trout Lake
You are invited to visit our hobby farm and stay in an open, airy brand-new one-bedroom apartment inside an Amish-built barn. In our rural area, the call of songbirds or lowing of cows is the loudest thing you will hear. Our property is completely solar-powered, with our own array of 42 solar panels on the roof of the barn. We provide a fully stocked kitchen for your breakfast, including oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, butter, coffee and tea, and, of course, fresh eggs from our own chickens. We can also cook amazing dinners for your group- check out our food pics! Our brand-new apartment is located on the second floor of our Amish-built barn. The front door and wood porch lead into a large foyer where you can leave your shoes and coats. Walk upstairs and you've got an open floor plan with amazing views of the countryside from decks on both the front and rear of the barn. The very large barn-width rear deck is the place to be to watch the sunset on warm evenings, while you scan the meadow for white-tailed deer, porcupine, and coyote, while listening to the meadowlarks and savannah sparrows. Inside the space, we offer one bedroom with a brand new Tuft and Needle queen-size bed, plus two more sleeping areas in shared space. The very large three-piece couch easily sleeps two adults, and the pull-out twin futon can sleep a small adult or child. Our kitchen has a two-burner electric cooktop, toaster oven, microwave oven, coffee maker, and small fridge/ freezer for your pleasure, plus a small kitchen table as well as 4-person bar seating. We love the locally-cut white pine butcher block counter top! The open floor plan with exposed beams is pleasing to the eye, and our ceramic tile shower stall will make you linger. Most of the decorations in the apartment come from our travels in South and Central America, East Africa, and Indonesia. The upstairs guest space and foyer are entirely private. We are happy to give you a tour of our farm and animal areas. In the summer and fall, please feel free to wander through the large vegetable garden and enjoy the raspberries. We reserve use of the bottom floor of the Guest House for personal use, as this is where Fernando has his artisanal soap-making shop. We live on-site and will be doing what we do on any given day, including farm animal care. We are happy to orient you to the area, show you the amazing views and talk about local wildlife and village life, or give you a tour of our farm. Our home is close to wonderful sites for adventure, in every season. In the winter, use your cross-country skis on the St. Lawrence University golf course right in the village of Canton, or go into the Adirondacks for a skiing or snowshoeing adventure. In the summer, there are miles of rivers and lakes to explore by canoe and kayak. Please note there are animals on site, and you may hear chickens, goats, and cows during your stay, but never a train.

Guest House in Canton, NY

We have a small hobby farm on 10 acres with a main house and guesthouse. The main house is across the driveway from the guesthouse. GUEST SPACE Strictly no smoking anywhere on the property. Strong wifi connection with router in the sitting room. This router provides an internet connection for both the guesthouse and the main house. If you have sensitivity to radio frequency waves, the guesthouse is not a good choice for you. We cannot disconnect the router. The guesthouse has three booking options: Option 1 sleeps 2 in one queen-size double bed and includes a bathroom with shower. This is the base price and will accommodate one or two guests—the price is the same because I price by how many rooms you require. Option 2 adds one upstairs bedroom, which sleeps 1 in 1 single bed and includes a bathroom with a tub/shower unit. If you want this option, book for three people, even if your party has only two people in it. Option three adds the second upstairs bedroom (sleeps 1 in 1 single bed). If you choose option three, you will be booking for four people, even if you have only three. Both options include a fully functional eat-in kitchen (coffee maker and toaster included, as well as fridge and gas stove), back deck area with table, umbrella, and chairs, and small sitting room with a gas fireplace. Please indicate which option you want when you inquire about availability. Options 2 and 3 require extra keys. I stock the kitchen with coffee, tea, sugar, and cream. We have butter and local maple syrup in the fridge, as well as jelly that we have made from our berries and/or apples. Our home-pressed cider is available for you, too. Please feel free to roam all 10 acres of the farm. The back yard playground is available for all guests. If you want to putter in the garden, or pick some of the produce with which we are blessed, just let me know, and I will provide what you need (weeding buckets, gathering baskets, etc). If I am pressing cider while you are here, I would love to share the process and the product. Come on over to the big tree in back of the main house! You are welcome to observe the chickens when they are in the barn and as they roam the property, and you may help collect eggs, but we do ask that that you leave the chickens alone if they are in their nesting boxes. That's their safe space. The entire property (all 10 acres) is shared space, and I usually am outside working during the day in the summer. When college is in session, I am available via text during the day, and in person after 5:00. Please note that our check-in and check-out times are flexible. If you need to modify either time, please text, and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. LOCATION We are conveniently located halfway between the 4 colleges in the area, and are an hour from Ottawa, Ontario. You can make easy day trips to Montreal, Lake Placid, Lake Champlain, Syracuse, and the Thousand Islands Region. There are many restaurants within a 15 mile radius, and traffic is always easy. Come enjoy a peaceful rural setting with easy access to two college towns.

Take a video tour: https://youtu.be/ZrtE1NE0mko Star Lake is called "The Gem of the Adirondacks." It is a spring fed lake on the north western side of Adirondack Park and borders land designated as Forever Wild. The lake is large enough for motor boats, and small enough for canoes, kayaks, and paddle boats. It is full of nooks and crannies and small islands, which make it really nice to take a peaceful "stroll" around the lake in a man powered boat. Isle Rest Jr. is a very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated deluxe 34' RV located in a private, lakefront location. It has an attached deck, picnic table, and private dock. It is surrounded by white pine and balsam trees and has a beautiful view of the western half of Star lake, which is quieter and less populated than the eastern half. Your UNIQUE RENTAL includes: - COZY & CLEAN RV with bedroom, full bathroom, kitchen, dining, and living area - Private DECK - Private DOCK on spring fed Star Lake - PADDLE BOAT, CANOE and KAYAK - Private use of TREASURE ISLAND with beach, lean-to, and firepit **NOTES The 2 recent reviews in 2017 are for this property. The reviews earlier than that were for the main house on the property, which is not currently offered for renting.

Authentic, vintage 1890’s Adirondack cottage, graced with a private yard and hundreds of feet of sandy shoreline and a picturesque setting on pristine Star Lake is yours to enjoy. Classic pine walls, hand-hewn timber railings, antique furnishings, sitting porches, and a wood stove take you back in time to when Grover Cleveland was President and families traveled by train and buggies to vacation together at one of the most special lakes in the Adirondacks. Picture the Waltons on vacation, sleeping 11 to 13, where every bedroom has a view of the lake and a reading chair where you can enjoy your favorite book or just soak in the tranquility. The kitchen has a pantry and all the amenities. There's a boat house, dockboat w/motor, raft, stone fire pit/fireplace and a wood-fired cedar soaking tub nestled in the privacy of the pines. You can tour the uniquely shaped lake in the 4 kayaks, (2 kids/2 adults), the canoe or the two paddleboards. The quaint town is minutes away and has a beautiful and challenging public golf course, grocery store, restaurant, and hospital. Lifetime memories await you. Cell phone service is available for all Verizon Customers and all other service is patchy. A hot spot works well for non-Verizon customers. Star Lake is very unique not only in its shape from whence the name came, but also in that the entire shoreline is sandy. There is even a sandbar within swimming distance from the cottage where the water is shin deep and you can sit in chairs and play games on a table (if you bring them). The village of Star Lake is less than a mile away and has a grocery store, gas station, restaurant. public golf course, post office, antique shop, hardware store, and a hospital. There are countless hiking trails in the area, numerous State Parks, and you are only 55 minutes away from the high peaks region where you'll find some of the most scenic trails anywhere in the country. Twenty minutes away in the Cranberry Lake region is one of the largest remote areas in the state. Just south of the lake are thousands of acres of hills, lakes, ponds, and virgin forests. The new Wild Center Natural History Museum of the Adirondacks in Tupper Lake is just 45 minutes away, and the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake is 1.7 hours away. You might also visit Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. They are an hour and 20 minutes to the east. For the truly adventuresome, some of the best white water rafting in the country is found on the Black River 1 and 1/2 hours to the West. Whatever suits your fancy, you'll find it in the Adirondacks.

Welcome to Cedar Ridge Farm, our 250-year-old farmhouse on 150 acres in Pierrepont, NY. We are conveniently located 9.5 miles from Canton, home to St. Lawrence University and SUNY Canton; and 8.5 miles from Potsdam, home to Clarkson University, and SUNY Potsdam / Crane School of Music. We are SO excited about the complete remodel of the kitchen /laundry room/bathroom with all new appliances and custom cabinets. The updates are phenomenal but maintain the old farm character. "The Farm" is truly a place for all seasons. In the spring and summer, hike the miles of trails right on the property. We are also just 15 minutes drive from the "blue line" of the Adirondack Park, where hiking trails and waterways are limitless. Visit nearby Postwood Park for a little beach time on the Raquette River, hike along the Stone Valley Nature Trails or navigate one of the other many nearby rivers and lakes by kayak or canoe. In the fall, duck hunters can set their sights on the Upper & Lower Lakes Wildlife Management Area. We have a dog kennel and plenty of space to dry your waders. If you visit us when the snow is flying, just walk out the door to go snowshoeing or to take the kids sledding. Bring your snowmobiles to access some of the best riding in the US! If a dog sledding adventure is on your bucket list, Call of the Wild Dog Sled Tours is a 15 minute drive away, and will offer an experience you'll not soon forget. Looking for a day trip destination? Lake Placid and the Olympic Village are 75 miles to the southeast and offers world class skiing, bobsled rides, ice skating and fabulous lake and hiking terrain. Bring your passport, Ottawa Ontario Canada - a spectacular city- is just 83 miles to the northwest. Skate on the frozen canals, attend the Tulip Festival, shop or visit museums, and don't forget to visit a Crepery or delicious Patisserie!
